Cali vibra con cine, cultura y folclor. El próximo 13 de agosto de 2025, durante el emblemático Festival de Música del Pacífico Petronio Álvarez, se presentará el tráiler oficial de Petronio, una película que celebra la identidad afrocolombiana y el poder transformador de la cultura del Pacífico.

📽️ Una producción con alma del territorio

Dirigida por Juan Carvajal, creador del documental La Salsa Vive, esta nueva obra se encuentra en etapa de postproducción y promete llevar al mundo una narrativa profunda sobre las raíces, la resiliencia y la herencia cultural del litoral colombiano.

“La película cuenta cómo la cultura es el eje fundamental del territorio, y cómo las comunidades abrazan su herencia para seguir creando y resistiendo”, expresó Carvajal.

🌍 Turismo cinematográfico: cultura que impulsa economía

La Gobernación del Valle del Cauca, junto a la Secretaría de Turismo y Telepacífico, respalda esta iniciativa como parte de su estrategia de turismo cultural y audiovisual. Según Miyerlandi Torres, secretaria de Turismo, este tipo de producciones generan empleo desde el primer día de rodaje y proyectan al Valle como destino turístico:

“Cuando el público ve nuestros paisajes y cultura en pantalla, quiere venir a conocerlos. Por eso apostamos al cine como motor de desarrollo”, afirmó Torres.
